Paredes becomes all-time leader in FG percentage in Grey Cup history
EDMONTON — Rene Paredes became the all-time Grey Cup leader in field goal percentage on Sunday during the 106th Grey Cup presented by Shaw.
In five career Grey Cup games, Paredes has connected on 11 of 11 field goals.
Former Toronto Argonauts kicker Mike Vanderjagt previously held the league’s best field goal percentage after making nine of nine attempts.
Paredes 10th kick was a 34-yarder in the third quarter at The Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium to break the record.
