TORONTO — The regional combine circuit continued on Thursday as the Ontario Regional Combine got underway in Toronto.
Prospects will be put through six major tests in hopes of impressing the scouts before the 2019 CFL Draft on May 2. Some of the top performers will be invited to the CFL National Combine presented by New Era later in March.
The vertical jump and bench press started off the morning session with Guelph offensive lineman Jaylan Guthrie nabbing the day’s best bench press (29 reps) and York linebacker Jacob Janke had the best vertical jump (39″).
Tusculum College defensive back Bryce Bartlett had the fastest 40-yard dash time with a 4.54.
