Two players fined after Week 3 action

TORONTO — The Canadian Football League announced on Thursday that two players have been fined after Week 3 action.

Edmonton Eskimos defensive back Monshadrik Hunter was fined for leading with the crown of his helmet in making contact with the head of Winnipeg Blue Bombers receiver Lucky Whitehead.

Edmonton Eskimos defensive lineman Nick Usher was fined for leading with the crown of his helmet in making contact with the head of Winnipeg Blue Bombers offensive lineman Geoff Gray.

As per league policy, the amounts of the player fines were not disclosed.
