EDMONTON — The Toronto Argonauts will be without two offensive starters on Thursday for their game against the Edmonton Eskimos, as James Wilder Jr. and Armanti Edwards are both out with injuries.

Sophomore running back Brandon Burks will start at running back while Chandler Worthy draws the assignment in Edwards’ spot at slotback.

Wilder has amassed only 161 rushing yards and a 4.2-yard average this season, but has still managed to make an impact with 260 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Edwards is among the team’s receiving leaders this season, with 353 yards and three touchdowns through the air.

Burks, 25, has 328 rushing yards in two seasons with the Argos while averaging 6.1 yards per carry.

The Argos are looking for their first win of the season on Thursday night in a visit to The Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium.
