Whether it was Ricky Ray’s Wall of Honour induction in Edmonton or the Alouettes’ ridiculous fourth-quarter comeback on Saturday, this past weekend was classic CFL.
It began Friday night with the Stamps cruising through Toronto to claim a win over the Argos.

Note: Despite the loss on the field, the Argos are still winning off it.

Attention then shifted to Edmonton for the second game of the doubleheader, as the Esks honoured legendary quarterback Ricky Ray on the night they hosted the Ticats.

Ricky Ray is the 🐐. I am so thankful for our friendship, teaching me about being a QB in the @cfl , and most importantly how to be a true professional on and off the field. You deserve it all! #HOF #RickyRayNight

Saturday brought with it a ridiculous finish in Montreal and a statement win for the Lions in Ottawa.
The Als’ comeback was nuts — down 20 in the fourth quarter, they managed to pull it off.
Step inside the locker room for HC Khari Jones’ post-game speech:
“They don’t know us. This group IS REAL!”
Caution: tearjerker #MondayMotivation #ToujoursGame #Montréals« Ils ne nous connaissent pas. Ce groupe n’a pas d’égal! »

The Als had their celebrity good luck charm in attendance, as US Open champion and blossoming Canadian sports icon Bianca Andreescu was in attendance for the win.
Congrats on the win and thank you for inviting me 🙏🏽👊🏽 https://t.co/5sze7LvlRz

It appears Montreal’s got something special cooking, with the team on pace to host an East Division playoff game.
Can’t lie I love this 2019 team @MTLAlouettes . Blood sweat and tears only makes us closer. It’s real life family ties over here on and off the field. 🤞🤞🙏🏽🙏🏽

Week 15 wound down with a beatdown in Ottawa, where the BC Lions trounced the REDBLACKS 40-7.
As you can tell from the Leos’ post-game, confidence is starting to run through the team again following its sweep of Ottawa.
