OTTAWA — The Ottawa REDBLACKS will be without running back Mossis Madu for their Week 18 game against the Toronto Argonauts.
Madu, 31, has appeared in nine games for the REDBLACKS this season, putting up 413 yards on 103 carries.
Ottawa is already missing John Crockett, who was placed on the six-game injured list following the team’s Week 11 game against the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
This will offer a chance for the REDBLACKS to get an extended look at both Greg Morris and Brendan Gillanders out of the backfield this week.
Gillanders, 28, has put up 34 yards on three catches in 12 games this season. His lone rush on the year went for 13 yards.
Morris has played in eight games this season, posting 33 yards on eight carries, 50 yards on six catches, and 165 yards on eight punt returns. The 27-year-old will also be returning kicks alongside Rafael Araujo-Lopes.
The REDBLACKS will travel to BMO Field to take on the Argos for the second time this season. Kick-off is set for 7:00 p.m. ET.
