Trevor Harris to start against Riders

EDMONTON — The Edmonton Eskimos will officially have their QB1 back under centre against the Saskatchewan Roughriders in Week 20.

Trevor Harris will make his return to the lineup on Saturday.

Harris, 33, has been out since Week 13 after he suffered an injury to his throwing arm against the Calgary Stampeders. Through 12 games this season, Harris threw for 3,706 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Logan Kilgore“>Logan Kilgore came in to replace Harris and has started the past four games for the Esks and has 1,115 yards and four touchdowns in five outings this season.

He’ll also have his full complement of receivers back, as Tevaun Smith will also be active against the Riders.

Running back C.J. Gable will miss his second game with an injury, meaning that Shaq Cooper will be the feature back for the Esks again in Week 20.

The Eskimos will welcome the Saskatchewan Roughriders to Commonwealth Stadium on Saturday to finish off Week 20 action. The two teams will kick-off at 7:00 p.m. ET.
