The Hamilton Sports Group is pleased to welcome World Vision Canada as an official charity partner of The Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Forge FC.
“We’re extremely proud to work with an iconic charity like World Vision.” Said Kyle Lohnes, Vice President of Community and Corporate Partnerships at Hamilton Sports Group. “Hamilton Sports Group take pride in supporting the community to promote healthy, active and empowered youth. Working with World Vision provides us the opportunity to showcase some of the great work they are doing to create lasting change in the lives of children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice.”
As part of the World Vision partnership, Hamilton Sports Group will help showcase the important programs and initiatives that are helping children living in the world’s most dangerous places, and give Ticats and Forge FC fans the opportunity to support the cause and get involved.
“We’re just so excited to partner with the Hamilton Sports Group,” says Kevin Andrews, Vice President, Brand, Communications & Engagement at World Vision Canada. “It’s all about a sense of community. The Tiger-Cats and Forge FC are pillars in their community and this partnership provides an amazing opportunity for the kind and generous people of Hamilton to extend a helping hand to children living in the most vulnerable communities across the globe.”
World Vision will be the presenting partner of the Ticats home game on Sept 17 at Tim Hortons Field and fans can expect to see various World Vision activations at Tiger-Cats and Forge FC home games throughout the 2022 season, which began at the Ticats preseason opener on May 28 at Tim Hortons Field. Other events for 2022 include a donation drive and an exclusive item that will be available to fans at Tim Hortons Field for a small donation.
